Sivananda yoga is a classical style offering a well-balanced composition of exertion and relaxation, incorporating meditation, pranayama practices, and Sun Salutations. This is followed by a sequence of asanas that target the body’s energy centers from top to bottom, leaving the practitioner with a peaceful, coherent, and connected sense of self as the class concludes with a deep relaxation exercise.
