Lily Manderville

Lily was first introduced to Yoga 18 years ago during a ballet summer intensive. She continued her alignment-based Yoga training with Bay Area teacher Dana Lawton (Loka Yoga Oakland) throughout her undergraduate program at Saint Mary’s College of California.
 
Lily is a Yoga Alliance-certified ERYT-500 Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider. She specializes in Children’s Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, and Standup Paddle Board Yoga.
 
As a teacher, she enjoys learning from her students and their experiences… on and off the mat. Lily brings fun and laughter into her teaching. While keeping students grounded, she loves to create room for play!

  • Awaken with the sun and embrace a dynamic Yoga practice that harmonizes with the ancient teachings of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the transformative Eight-Limb Path of Yoga. This mixed-level class artfully weaves breath and movement, fostering flexibility, strength, and endurance for participants ranging from active beginners to advanced practitioners.

    Join us on Fridays for a special emphasis on exploring diverse Yoga philosophy themes each week, balancing self-study with energizing movement to create a comprehensive mind-body experience. Each Friday class will be divided between a short Yoga philosophy reading, discussion, and gentle Yoga movement.

  • **Philosophy Fridays has a new class location!  This class is being held down at our Pilates studio, which is in the same shopping center as Indigo: Pike & Plank Pilates, 1557 Palos Verdes Mall.

    Join us on Fridays as we delve into various Yoga philosophy topics each week, striking a balance between self-reflection and invigorating practice to cultivate a holistic mind-body connection.  If you attend the Sunrise Flow during the week, you'll enjoy this extension class exploring yogic philosophy in a fun environment. 

    Each Friday session will incorporate a total of 20 minutes of gentle Yoga movement, followed by the majority of the class dedicated to a brief Yoga philosophy exploration, group discussion, and reflection. This class draws inspiration from the ancient wisdom of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the transformative Eight-Limb Path of Yoga and is open to all levels.
