Sosie Sagherian

Sosie's classes are infused with humor, especially in the midst of the challenge. She prides herself on providing modifications as she encourages students to explore the edges of their boundaries without "going over the edge". Sosie keeps it real by presenting her authentic self and holding a healing and elevated space for each person in class.

Sosie Sagherian grew up and spent the majority of her life in the Boston area. She made her way to the Pacific NW with her husband and two sons in 2005, eventually landing in the Bay Area 2010.

Sosie holds a Bachelor of Architecture. Though she no longer practices architecture, her passion for building and creating is very much alive and thriving. You might know her from working the front desk and have seen Sosie's Stacks gemstone bracelets that she creates for us at Indigo. She has been practicing Kundalini Yoga since 1995 and has been teaching weekly since 2007.

Sosie Sagherian instructs the following:
  • Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
  • A transformational and powerful yoga practice that creates long-lasting physical and emotional balance, focus, intuitive clarity, and deep healing. Class includes breathwork, physical postures, gong relaxation, and healing meditations.

We will work with the power of our breath, learning multiple breathing techniques which will support us not only in our practice but in our everyday living.

Breathwork can help release built-up tension and pent-up energy as well as create the magic of slowing down time. With the combination of dynamic yogic postures, breathing techniques, and deep meditations, we will improve physical and mental flexibility and build both strength and calm within the nervous system. Some of our long-term goals that will transfer outside of class are to create ease within the challenge, doing without "doing" and moving energy through the body keeping us balanced and happy.

This class is open to all levels, beginners and longtime practitioners.

  • FNHS: A Soulful Journey: Breath, Movement & Sound with Kundalini and Yoga Nidra
  • Step into a sacred space where breath becomes your guide, movement your expression, and mantra your anchor. This transformative evening weaves together intentional breathwork, gentle fluid movements , and the vibrational power of mantra to awaken your inner vitality and restore balance to body, mind, and spirit.

We begin by grounding through conscious breath, then flow through a series of mindful movements designed to open energy pathways and deepen awareness. Mantras are woven throughout the practice to uplift and center the heart, creating a meditative rhythm that carries you through each posture.

As we wind down, you’ll be guided into a deeply restorative Yoga Nidra—a state of conscious rest that invites profound stillness and rejuvenation. The journey culminates in a gong bath, where expansive sound waves wash over you, dissolving tension and expanding your sense of self into the infinite.

Come as you are and leave feeling renewed, expansive, and deeply connected.

Friday Night Healing Series classes have a 24-Hour cancellation policy in effect.

  • Kundalini Yoga + Yoga Nidra
  • Class starts with a powerful, 55-minute Kundalini Yoga practice that prepares students for 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep). Kundalini Yoga is a transformational and energetic yoga practice that creates enduring physical strength, emotional balance, focus, intuitive clarity, and deep healing. Mantra, breathwork, repetitive poses (kriyas) and meditations are included. Through Yoga Nidra, awareness is turned inward by listening to a set of instructions, much like a guided meditation, leading to a balanced nervous system and providing deep rest and insight.

All levels of experience are welcome.

  • Yin Yoga
  • Yin Yoga targets the joints, fascia, and connective tissue in order to create more space in the body and a greater range of motion. Yin Yoga unites the Body, Mind, and Breath. Calming the breath allows the body to get quiet, when the body is still, the mind can relax, which calms the entire nervous system. Practicing Yin helps you feel more flexible, peaceful, and refreshed.

Unlike other types of yoga, Yin poses are held for longer periods, allowing the tender connective tissues to strengthen and lengthen. Yin yoga can be done by all types of people at all different levels of experience and flexibility because you rely on your own body’s wisdom to let you know how far to go.

    All levels welcome.
